I would say the best thing about being at Bristol University is that you always have support and help available. As a fresher in my first year, the university organised many fresher activities and campus presentations to help me settle into campus life more quickly. Within 1 month of starting school, I received emails from many departments at the school including freshman activities course schedules, housing, transportation, tuition, clubs, volunteering, part-time jobs, mental health, personal tutors, alumni mentoring, etc. Each email made me more aware of the school and I was able to get help from the school first time both academically and in life. As an international student, this eased the anxiety and stress of living and studying in a distant and unfamiliar country. The University of Bristol also provides my lectures and support with career preparation which is helpful for students to prepare and determine their career pathway.
