UCL is a great university that offers a wide range of student societies and employment opportunities. It appears to me that students enjoy good career prospects and employers actively seek to employ UCL students. Professors are usually passionate about their subjects although learning is relatively independent. Facilities are generally adequate although library spaces can be difficult to find during peak hours. Student life is decent with UCL’s own student bars, although much of the appeal comes from London itself. Location is central enough to easily visit London’s hotspots but also not too central so that private accommodation remains accessible. One thing I would criticise is the insufficient UCL accommodation for first-year students, meaning this can be a barrier to socialising for some.
