Good career prospects, poor student satisfaction
What I like about UCL is its links with many companies which creates positive career prospects for students. Being in the heart of London, there are many opportunities to network with such companies at career fairs and talks held on campus. However, the teaching isn’t so great in certain departments. There is minimal support and a lack of personal interaction with professors due to large class sizes and poor teaching methods. In addition, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and isolated at a Uni in the heart of London, but this can be improved by getting involved in societies/sports.
