I studied MSc Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management, which is located in Canary Wharf, London.
My course expectations were exceeded. The teaching staff is a group of professionals in the startup industry. The content taught was more than just textbooks, it was mixed up with endless real life lessons and scenarios, allowing the learning to become more interesting and applicable. The practical and theoretical work assigned was motivational and a building experience. What I really appreciated was the way in which the teaching staff combined serious work with friendliness. To an extent this created a real life business setting in the classroom yet making everyone feel at ease.
The course students are carefully selected resulting in a diverse and inspiring group.
Besides the learning, what I truly enjoyed is the fact that the whole UCL community greatly encourages students to connect with one another and unite as a group. The various social events organised by the university, such as the Christmas ball or pitch sessions, throughout the year really enhanced my social experience and allowed for the whole class to bond closely.
The Student Hub is a favourite aspect among all the students. A central student lounge which brings everyone together. The ideal place for social and work meetings.
I believe studying at UCL enhances your self-esteem. I graduated feeling wiser and accomplished. I think UCL School Of Management is the kind of place where you do not want to skip classes. I would highly recommend this university to a friend. In fact, I already did last year.
