Having attended Belfast Met prior to Ulster University, I was able to compare what a good higher education establishment was like to how a mediocre if not poor establishment was run. Students at Ulster are seemingly just seen as pound signs to the echelons of the university and once you’re in the door, that’s their job done. They don’t care for wellbeing and the majority of content in the course was below average. No wonder people find it difficult to get work after attending Ulster University.

Ulster University offers many different campuses across northern Ireland in Belfast, Jordanstown, Derry and Coleraine. The courses they offer are amazing however they might offer a specific course at only one campus meaning students need to travel across the country for their course. This happened to me. I had to move to Coleraine to study Consumer Managment and food innovations and it was terrible! I hated the city and it had no student life but I live my course so i have contained with it. I moved to Belfast and make a two hour commute in my second year. The lectures are mostly kind and welcoming and the library resources are fabulous. There isn’t many society engagement on the Coleraine campus which often lead me to feel lonely and isolated. It was harder to go out and make friends which was hard especially for a first year in a new city.
View moreThe university is a good and perfect learning space for students. The lecturers are vast and knowledgeable about the modules and they make sure students understand all that is taught.
The lecture structure is also good and makes the learning process easy to understand because after the module is done, there is always a time for seminars which gives the students the chance to discuss about the just concluded module for better understanding of the course.
Repayment structure of fees is also very flexible and easy for students. They are very understanding.
They always try to make the environment conducive for students i.e they included more microwaves for students for ease during the break time.
I also like the fact that there are students from every part of the world as it gives room for diversity and the opportunity to learn other cultures even while learning in the school for your course.
I would recommend the school at any time for these reasons and many more as I am satisfied in every way with Ulster University.
View moreI am studying master’s degree at the Birmingham campus. unfortunately with the exception of the affordable tuition fee. it doesn’t have any facilities. but the staff and lecturers are friendly and supportive.
View moreI was studying in London campus. My Course was MSC international business with data analytics . It was one year course. During my course i did not find anything helpful regarding their services. Also, student service department was not much helpful to their students . They take too much time to start anykind of process like exams, results.
View moreThe management at Ulster University Birmingham campus is atrocious, felt like they knew nothing, and were very uncooperative. For example, I had a friend whose wife was not feeling good and he wants to visit her, they asked him so many silly questions like submitting her reports and submitting the bills, etc.
View moreThis university is just wonderful. They put together an excellent team and the most realistic, student-centred education I’ve ever experienced. The professors are all exceptional educators who are very talented, inspirational, and gifted. I couldn’t have asked for a finer group of professors. The campus is well-equipped, including coffee shops and a restaurant. My experience at Ulster University was enjoyable. The contemporary campus has its own distinct look and offers a fantastic experience.
