The University of Stirling has been critiqued exhaustingly about how they have handled themselves during COVID-19. The structure of many courses over lockdowns has undoubtedly had an effect on many students’ mental health – so much so I and many of my peers had to take a sabbatical in our final year as our only resort.
I have returned and can say that I am very happy with the lecturers I have been placed with this year and have a much better learning experience from last. Last year was poorly ran and poorly organised but now feel confident being back in my studies.
The university is located in a beautiful city surrounded by greenery and nature – and purely based on this I would recommend it to anyone 🙂
