I like the industry-focused teaching, most lecturers have real professional experience, which makes the course content practical and relevant. They genuinely try to connect theory to real-world applications. The modern facilities, the MediaCityUK campus is a huge highlight, modern, professional, and inspiring, especially if you’re studying media, business, or creative subjects. The supportive staff, academic and wellbeing support is easy to access. Staff respond quickly and are willing to help when you reach out. The student community, the campus has a friendly, diverse student atmosphere, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved in events, societies, and networking.

Areas for improvement and things which I dislike are the communication gaps, sometimes information about deadlines, timetable changes, or events isn’t communicated clearly or early enough.

Would I recommend it, absolutly, I would recommend the University of Salford, especially if you value practical learning, modern facilities, and industry connections. It’s a great choice for students who want hands-on experience and a supportive academic environment. While administrative processes could improve, the overall student experience is positive and the university prepares you well for future career opportunities.

I like how short, interactive, and detailed the modules are designed. It provides clear insight and understanding to guide one in their career choice.

I dislike the idea of having more than 2 tutors taking a module because it sometimes brings about misunderstanding.

University Of Salford offers the course of MA Public Relations and Digital Communications. This course provide opportunities to meet with professional PR officers during workshops. Teachers focused more on practical skills rather than the theory. I just love the way of teaching and also the university campus offers opportunities for different types of internships during the entire course.

Picking a school for my post graduate degree was kind of hard and Salford wasn’t even on my list but I’m super glad I came to Salford.

The support and help I got as an international student when I came starting from the induction week to the start of lectures to interacting with my lecturers has been nothing but amazing.

Looking forward to the rest of my year as a postgraduate student and enjoying everything the school has to offer.

The University of Salford is a learning institution that aids the growth of its students academically, socially, and in other areas.

I love University of Salford for its diversity, inclusiveness and promptness.

I like the university’s atmosphere, staff, lecturers, etc. It helped me not to feel lonely during immigration. The SBS team prepared me for interviews and finding jobs. Nothing bothered me during these six months so I want to share it.

Even though Salford University is a quite a new institution in Manchester, it is well organised in terms of support, materials and technology. Although the first two easy everything was mostly centred online and less face to face due to the virus, that has impacted my social life in campus but not my studies and it was easy to reach other students and compete the assignment with the right support.
