I study Modern Languages with Business at the University of Nottingham, and overall my experience has been very positive. The course offers a good balance between language study and business-focused modules, helping me develop academic and practical skills. The language teaching is well structured, and there is a strong emphasis on cultural understanding as well as communication, which I have found especially valuable.
One of the principal strengths of the university is its diverse and international student community. This produces an inclusive environment and facilitates learning from different perspectives. Many lecturers are supportive and approachable, with sufficient resources available, including careers support, libraries, and online learning platforms, which have been helpful throughout my studies.
However, there are areas that could be improved. Some modules are more theory based rather than practical, and at times communication around assessments could be clearer. With that being said, students who are proactive and take advantage of the opportunities available can gain a lot from their time at Nottingham.
To conclude, the University of Nottingham provides a strong academic foundation and a supportive environment for students who are motivated and engaged.

The university provides a respectable future prospect for students, however, the semenyih campus has room for improvement in terms of area where student profile building could be done. Generally, as an international relations student, I would hope to see more programs to allow us to integrate our student life with a future career during the university period.

The architecture and grandeur of the main campus is unbeatable. I fell in love with this university the moment I set foot on the grounds. It has a very European feel, likely due to the lake and bicycle infrastructure. The nightlife however could be somewhat improved. There is a good selection of bars and clubs, but still not quite as many as back home.
