My knowledge is mainly highlighting the Malaysia campus. However, I think the fundamental values of Nottingham would be the same everywhere.
The global awareness of the entire institution is what tickled my interest initially. All the courses are designed in an applicable approach so the students would always be able to find solutions to real-life problems.
The Malaysia campus is one of the greenest in the world if not the greenest. I think this symbolizes the university’s efforts towards better environment change and the great focus on helping the world become a greener place.
The balance between theoretical work and practical work is also quite admirable. As someone who prefers a hands-on experience to understand something fully, I have really appreciated the abundance of lab sessions and availability of all sorts of projects.
Overall I’d recommend Nottingham to anyone who’s willing to become a leader in whatever field they pick and help make this world a better place.
