Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
Roehampton is in an excellent area, making it simple to travel to surrounding boroughs such as Putney and RichmondThey have a giant, modern library full of many books, as well as downtown London. The instructors are committed and educated, and after speaking with alumni before attending the school, they were able to quickly obtain jobs. The course is both demanding and stimulating. I enjoy being here because everyone is polite, the staff is lovely, and there is a fantastic social life and society in the rowing club, as well as all other sports like tennis, football, cheerleading, and rugby. They have a large, modern library with a large number of books. It provides free university bus services too.
It also offers a lot of assistance to kids, whether they need it physically, emotionally, or for their education.
I attended the university’s law school and enjoyed my overall experience. The campus is beautifully spread with green lawns and ponds filled with ducks and swans. The scenery alone makes the walk through campus peaceful and refreshing.
I loved all of my lecturers and the care they took into our learning as well as our well-being as students. And since the law school’s program is practice-based learning, we had many opportunities to showcase what we learned.
View moreI started my degree at Roehampton in 2018 and so far its been one of the best decisions I’ve made so far. It is easy to make friends and find a place where you belong as the Uni offers so many different societies and sports teams. The time you spend time doing uni work and the free time you have is really balanced, and bc of where Roehampton is based, you have easy access to London or other places to go out and spend your day. I am really happy with the services provided by the uni and the effort of the Business School. You don’t just learn about the theories in business, you already start using it in real life examples.
