I studied Advertising, PR and Media. one of the main things I enjoyed about my course was the variety of modules available, allowing me to explore different areas of the subject in depth. The lecturers were knowledgeable and passionate, which made the content more engaging and easier to understand. The university itself had a strong sense of community, with plenty of support services for both academic and personal development.

What I disliked:
One challenge I faced was the large class sizes in some lectures, which sometimes made it difficult to engage directly with lecturers or ask questions. In some modules, I felt that the course content could have been updated more regularly to reflect current industry trends.

Overall, I found my course to be a rewarding experience that helped me grow both academically and personally. While there were areas that could be improved, the supportive environment and variety of learning opportunities made my university experience positive and worthwhile.

I am a BA marketing student, and my time at Middlesex University has been fantastic so far. Studying there for two years has certainly made me fall in love with MDX, and here is why:

Firstly, Middlesex has some of the best staff members ever. A large portion of the lecturers know exactly how to engage students, provide relevant information, and even make decent jokes. You always look forward to the classes, and they do not feel like a duty.
Moreover, the campus atmosphere is incredibly friendly and supportive. All the staff members are always eager to help, give advice, and have a genuine smile on their faces. Being on campus never feels like pressure, and overall, you feel in a safe environment.

Furthermore, MDX has a great bunch of cool facilities. The campus has a lot of cafes and nice spots to hang out or study. The library is also huge and has several different areas for all types of activities.

Finally, I am quite satisfied with the learning program as well. It is relatively challenging, yet well-balanced and interesting. However, the program will be changed next academic year to reflect new demands and wishes from the students. The only downside is the timetable, it is occasionally a mess, but the team tries to work on that.

Overall, I highly recommend Middlesex University to all the students who seek a well-balanced and pleasant uni experience. By giving it a chance, you won’t be disappointed.

Middlesex University Mauritius provides a quality British education with experienced teachers in a unique setting, offering students a taste of the tropical island lifestyle with a diverse mix of cultures and people. However, it’s worth noting that some courses may not be closely aligned with the Mauritian job market, so students should consider their career goals when selecting a program.

As a student studying a business related degree in Marketing i have found Middlesex University a hub filled with useful resources and new opportunities. Their MDXWorks and crowdfunding platform opens doorways for those with entrepreneurial and business focused pursuits like me. The teaching is very collaborative and allows you to work with an independent and individualistic drive. Like any other university, your studies are not enough and so you must try to take advantage of all the extra curricular and accessible resources that the institution provides to reach higher and delve deeper for the future 🙂

I love Middlesex. As soon as I stepped foot on this campus, I felt at home, and that realization made me fall in love. The social side of things makes it quite simple to establish friends, and I have so far only had positive interactions with my teachers. Even if it is your first time on campus, everywhere you go—from the coffee shops to the library—this location makes you feel at home. In your hunt for a university, don’t overlook Middlesex!

I think the business section of this university is great and they have one of the best marketing modules out of most universities as they cover everything and really go into depth about spelt marketing rather than marketing and business together

Living locally, it was near to get to, parking was great and it was convenient. The course itself was flexible, so I was able to change my major and minor without any problems. The professors were approachable, even though the standard process was to book an appointment. Also, they had great sports facilities and a great library!
