I enjoyed both the educational and noneducational resources that the university has to offer. The staff and professors are friendly and very knowledgable. Although the school is based in the middle of the Thames area, the university makes it a priority to keep everyone safe, which is reassuring.

I studied Psychology at Kingston University. I applied for the course through clearing, which allowed me to apply despite my grades not meeting the course’s criteria. I enjoyed my course and learned a lot about various Psychology topics (development, health, the brain). The downside of the course is that until I got to my final year, I didn’t include much practical work, so lectures were slightly repetitive.

Overall, I found Kingston University very supportive, especially during the pandemic.

I studied at Kingston University at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Interestingly the experience for undergraduate and postgraduate were completely different. During my undergraduate, the university provided support and really seemed to care about students and their well-being. The university itself is multicultural and provides lots of opportunities for undergraduates to develop themselves.

However, during my postgraduate studies, I realised that academics care less about student wellbeing and do not offer much support to students. Supervisory meetings are limited and can go by months without being able to see your supervisor.

I do geniuley like the university and its campus surroundings, I like the green spaces and clubs/societies the university has to offer.
I met my life friends there and would personally would recommend the university as it offers a range of multiple courses/ varied programmes to choose from.
