Loughbrough University does exceptionally well on University League Tables. It has incredible student satisfaction, and being here for one semester has already highlighted why it does so well! Being a sports university, I was expecting to see a lot of sports activities advertised around campus, and a lot of professional athletes and sportsmen/women around campus. Not being a particularly sporty individual, I never imagined attending Loughborough University with sporting opportunities in mind. I am not a professional, nor did I have a great interest in the sport. Nevertheless, starting my studies at Loughborough University has genuinely helped me become a fitter, healthier person. There are so many activities to join! I would definitely say there is something for everyone, beginner or professional. With daily free fitness classes, to world-renowned gym facilities, to weekly games/matches to go watch and support, there is always something going on aimed at students health and wellbeing! It has even helped me become more focused with my studies. I have more energy and feel happier after a fun tennis session, or boxfit class!
