Environmental engineering and project management is a course under Civil Engineering. It covers all aspects of Environment(Air, Water, Land and microbiology) along with the management side, hence this was the reason why I opted for this course in University of Leeds.
View moreThe University is nice and they have a lot of advanced technologies to help students get whatever they need. The things I found challenging were the speed of the Masters programme and moving from one location to another for lectures. Even though its a one year programme, I was not expecting it to be so fast and tedious. Beside the challenges mentioned earlier I am happy I came to University of Leeds. Apart from having modern equipment to help students learn, the location is fantastic, close to the city centre and Leeds bus station. Nice places to eat and beautiful parks to see just around the school.
I also enjoyed the Leeds ball they did. Its really nice here. I have become stronger, more resilient and have improved academically since I started studying in Leeds.
Leeds University is among the top 100 universities in the world and ranked in the top 10 universities in the United Kingdom (UK). It is a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities. It is also a part of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) of 22 research-intensive institutions spanning six continents. These facts along with some others are the shining proof of their academic excellence. The green beautiful campus is only ten-minute walk from Leeds city centre and has had everything in it from state-of-the-art departments to the neoteric students’ union building that contains more than 300 societies and clubs to the modern fitness facility of their own kind. The academic excellence, the globally recognised teaching and research facilities, the range of disciplines, and the distinguished faculty make it an ideal place for everyone to advance their education.
