I’m an international student studying Master’s in Biomedical engineering at ICL. Imperial is one of the top 10 universities in the world, and obviously it is one of the best. The standard of teaching is highly commendable and the faculty is very considerate about students’ well being. The modules are very well taught, though some of the study groups are a bit rushed. They are always open to questions and discussions and the coursework makes you really think about what you’ve learnt and how you can improve. There is ample support and a lot of resources ranging from books to videos and research articles. Being a master’s student, there is pressure. But the best part is you learn; not only the subjects, but also about yourself. Apart from academics, the college has over 360 clubs and societies and plenty of events are organised throughout the year. There are tons of opportunities available. At the end of the it depends on how you prioritize things.
