Friendly and hardworking uni environment with great prospects.

This university is very much what you make of it. If you put in a lot of effort to put yourself out there and work hard, you will enjoy a lot of the events . However, even if you do not do this you still ensure that you will do well in the future by doing well in your chosen course. This is a very STEM oriented uni and thus the environment will be very hard working and faster paced at times, but in your down time there are plenty of activities and clubs to take part in.
