The university is wonderful school and what I liked about it is how accommodative it was in relation to other races , what i’d recommend is that they create internship opportunities for foreigners with equal opportunities like their own Malaysians.
View moreI had a strong education and developed many practical design skills to use in industry with the aid of practical labs, intuitive lessons from experienced lecturers and many site visits. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would recommend it to any aspiring engineer.
View moreAmazing insights in to my programme. Lectures are detailed and relevant. I enjoy learning in this campus. The learning facility reflects a modern day learning environment. There are plenty of computers in the campus and i enjoy spending time in the library.
View moreI like that my program was strong based on the curriculum. The student life wasn’t so good because of Covid, I barely got to meet people from my course. The lecturers gave an excellent teaching service, although some struggled to teach the core part of the courses online. The online student services were quite good and easy for students to navigate to online classes but although, a lot of things found this to be challenging. I feel like lecturers should employ more techniques in their online teaching skills, especially when teaching at an international university. Lecturers should be more clear about what they want in their coursework as students found it hard to obtain support from fellow colleagues and lecturers themselves. More measures should be set in helping freshers to integrate and be familiar with the online system. Things should be taken slowly for the first two weeks until students are settled and prepared for the semester.
View moreThe university has a good learning environment overall and great qualified professors around you to help you out. The facilities are also good and several activities and events planned out for students throughout the year. Although there are some improvements required, the university needs to get through the students complaints and help them out on time. Sometimes the issues are not resolved or take too much time.
View moreThe quality of education was mediocre. The course was not quite as expected. More extra curricular activities could have been incorporated throughout the academic year. The welfare of the student is given consideration.
View moreHeriot-Watt has provided me with countless opportunities. What I like about the University is the fact that I feel at home there. I would most definitely recommend it. The professors are very helpful and friendly.
View moreOverall experience is memorable and cherish able. Edinburgh provides one of the best student social life even through the academic pressure. Highly recommend studying in Scotland rather than the dubai campus.
View moreThe university is decent at best. Need better social communities. People usually end up feeling left out if you don’t find a group of friend to hang out with soon. I’d give it a 4/10. The education, for my course at least, was useless. I didn’t learn anything. In fact, I am more confused about my profession than I ever was! Professors don’t have clear direction and aren’t able to communicate their brief properly. The security is rude and the freedom is decent but disgusting. Staff disrespects students.
View moreThe staff is friendly and very helpful. Offers a wide range of subjects to cover. Although i feel they should try and make the students more practical to the field, rather than leaving most of the work to research by the student.
