Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
Excellent university; strongly advised.
I can personally attest that enrolling at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge is among the best decisions I’ve ever made. The university provides excellent academic support, and the academic staff members are kind, professional, and passionate about what they do. They are also always ready to meet quickly if necessary. The University’s Employability Career Service is excellent; they offer you lots of assistance with employability skills like interview practice, CV improvement, and career guidance. Although I can’t assess them because they have already been reviewed, the campus amenities are excellent, the environment is wonderful, and there are many societies and clubs to join.
Studying at Anglo American University is excellent. A diverse learning experience is fostered by an experienced faculty, first-rate facilities, and an international setting. Highly regarded for high-quality instruction.
View moreMy overall opinion is that ARU is an excellent, university that is very inclusive and helpful with international students who seek a higher education abroad as is my case. Challenging at the beginning but all the team and teachers working in ARU, were splendid in any aspect throughout the whole degree.
View moreI started my studies in May 2022, because of the Covid-19 pandemic we had to do online classes instead of on campus. The university was very prepared for this, they had all the information online, including courses, classes, and attendance. The lecturers managed to find a way for us to engage with creative slides and all kinds of exercises which helped us engage more. The East India campus is everything a student would want, modern, clean, full of facilities, areas for study, and affordable places to eat.
View moreMy programme is Business and Law and I would recommend it if you want to have more options regarding your career. The teachers are amazing and the study place is offering everything you need in order to succeed.
View morePersonally, I believe that the university is well organised, not only for the professional manner of the teachers, but also because they been very helpful and often available to give advice and information about the exams. Also I really appreciate the practical way of the lessons and the exams, respect the Italian- university structure, where are mostly common Theoretical exams.
View moreI really enjoyed the course and the friendly and welcoming environment. I particularly enjoyed my final year of my studies due to the modules. My favourite modules were International Law and EU law. I would definitely recommend the university. The only thing I would change is the employability department as I did not find it helpful nor facilitating.
