Post 8 plus years of professional experience in FMCG and sports marketing, I decided to take an academic pivot, and I could not have chosen a better campus than the University of Sussex for my second Masters. Besides the fact that the school is the only University that offers a course in Marketing and Consumer Psychology (including modules of Neuromarketing), it is well renowned for its research-intensive methods of teaching. The academic facilities provided by the University are world-class with a well built and stocked up library providing articles to most of the well known journals across genres.
Most importantly, the University truly values cultural diversity and has numerous programs to accommodate international students from all different parts of the world.
While academics is the core of everything at Sussex, the University also ensures that its students are all-rounders, having the option to choose and pursue any extracurricular activity of their choice like sports, arts, music or even swing dance. Best of all, you are awarded points for participation that can be collated for a Spirit of Sussex certificate during graduation.
If the above isn’t enough, the vast surroundings of the University and its luscious greenery are therapeutic and meditative during stressful academic requisites.
Sussex was my first international educational venture and as anxious as I was before I started my course, it truly turned out to be a home away from home.
