I’m currently studying at Birmingham City University and I’m really enjoying my course. One of the things I appreciate most is that it’s a 2-year programme which means I can gain my qualification and start my career sooner. The pace is fast but manageable and the support from the lecturers has been great throughout.

The teaching is engaging and the course content feels relevant and practical for the industry I want to go into. There’s a good balance between academic learning and real-world application, which makes the experience more valuable and rewarding.

Although my time at the university coincided with the pandemic, limiting certain experiences, I found the overall quality of education to be commendable. Despite the remote nature of most activities, my lectures were exceptional, delivering up-to-date information relevant to the industry. Moreover, the university provided valuable networking opportunities, allowing me to establish meaningful connections.

While social events were scarce due to the predominantly remote environment, the university compensated by offering substantial hands-on industry experience. Collaborating with various companies, I gained practical knowledge and actively participated in projects directly applicable to my future career. Currently, I am in the Digital Marketing program, and so far it has been a great experience. As a creative individual, I love the fact that the course takes place at the school of Visual Arts and Design. Digital Marketing is typically taught in business schools, but this course is one of a kind.
