Globalisation strengthens the connection between companies from all over the world. It is time people understand the importance of international business.
International business degrees are shaped to give students practical knowledge about different business management practices from all over the world. In addition, candidates are prepared for business careers abroad or in organisations that are engaged in business on a global scale.
Moreover, international business is vital in order to understand different cultures and mindsets and ultimately become a global citizen.
A degree in International Business prepares you for a job in a culturally diverse business environment, which means that any graduate can benefit from opportunities in any country.
The advantage of an International Business course is that you are highly employable for most industries since the majority of skills acquired are transferable.
Candidates studying international business will also gain information and insight about the difficulties of starting and growing businesses from different countries, something which is of utmost importance for anyone who wants to make their business thrive.
International Business is usually a three-year commitment, depending on each university. Lately, there are institutions which offer the possibility of having a ‘sandwich course’, which basically enables the candidates to work abroad for one year in the industry, as part of their studies.
The purpose of the ‘sandwich course’ is to encourage students to step outside their comfort zone and work in a different culture and environment. In this way, they will understand other mentalities, as well as gain relevant working experience in the field.
I love Ulster University and there is no doubt of it. I prefer Ulster University over others because of its affordable tuition fees with huge categories of courses. International students have the option to afford tuition fee in Ulster University easily. The campus location is in a perfect area where students have the opportunity to meet with new individuals from various nations. The experience and learning both can be built up easily inside Ulster University by meeting with those people. Most of lecturers are Phd holders and they are highly expert in teaching. Ulster University is also high ranked University in the United Kingdom and it has high level of global standing. I say that choose Ulster University and learn more.
View moreThe university is a good and perfect learning space for students. The lecturers are vast and knowledgeable about the modules and they make sure students understand all that is taught.
The lecture structure is also good and makes the learning process easy to understand because after the module is done, there is always a time for seminars which gives the students the chance to discuss about the just concluded module for better understanding of the course.
Repayment structure of fees is also very flexible and easy for students. They are very understanding.
They always try to make the environment conducive for students i.e they included more microwaves for students for ease during the break time.
I also like the fact that there are students from every part of the world as it gives room for diversity and the opportunity to learn other cultures even while learning in the school for your course.
I would recommend the school at any time for these reasons and many more as I am satisfied in every way with Ulster University.
View moreI was studying in London campus. My Course was MSC international business with data analytics . It was one year course. During my course i did not find anything helpful regarding their services. Also, student service department was not much helpful to their students . They take too much time to start anykind of process like exams, results.
View moreThe management at Ulster University Birmingham campus is atrocious, felt like they knew nothing, and were very uncooperative. For example, I had a friend whose wife was not feeling good and he wants to visit her, they asked him so many silly questions like submitting her reports and submitting the bills, etc.
View moreGreat location with amazing facilities on-campus for students, the course itself covers quite a lot of content divided between modules within weekly blocks delivering block-learning on selected days throughout the week. The lecturers are extremely supportive, friendly and helpful and the content is always interesting and allows for lots of group work. The University in my opinion is extremely international seeing students attending from all parts of the world. In terms of student life, there are always events and activities to participate in as well as a variety of clubs and societies to join. I would definitely recommend the Uni and the course to others.
View moreMost of the students are international. Ulster has been a great choice for them. No matter what issue arise they always solve it. Some students do not get help and they complain about it because they do not know where to complain. There are multiple emails so you have to know which one is relevant to your issue. If it is about a financial issue then it has a different email address, if it is about the competition then it has a different one, so you have to find the right one. If you go to the reception area you can see there is a list of emails.
I really love my campus, they organize a lot of events, competitions and many more. Especially on Thursday, you can see them doing Salsa after uni hour, which is fun to watch and join. It’s totally free. The environment is great.
The teachers are fantastic. They are very friendly and fun to be around.
Classrooms are also great. Everyone can charge their laptop, phone inside the classroom 😀
My course was International business, the modules were ”Digital landscape” (it is about online marketing and technology, this subject is so creative), ”Finance”, ”Marketing” ”Business Research” ”Entrepreneurship” and many more. So, you can get a broad knowledge about business. The lecturers assign us teamwork and individual reports and if you get stuck they are always here.
Right now I will do my internship, the great thing is they will be providing companies to us if you do not find one.
Overall, I would rate my uni a 10 out of 10!
