I graduated from this university before it was separated from Anadolu University. Funding was way better back then but since it is a new university now, most of the income is gone and that creates a funding/budget problem overall. Other than that, laboratories are really well equipped, the instruments are usually cutting edge technology. Some professors are amazingly successful however big portion of them does no useful research. On the other hand, even though the separation was a little too quick for the university to put everything on the new order, it will be helpful in the future and I’m sure the uni will settle on a good worldwide ranking after a few years.
