The professors are generally good, and compared to other universities, you receive a quality education, but passing the courses is very difficult. Since the campuses are spread out, each one has its own unique culture. In particular, the English preparatory program at Dokuzcesmeler has truly excellent instructors. They teach from the very beginning.
View moreOverall, it is a pretty decent university, with the main highlight being its culturel richness and diversity that comes with it being average. It’s a weird thing to say but the entrence threshold is relatively low so you get to interact with people from every corner of the society as you know or don’t know it. I believe this is the greatest highlight of this university.
View moreWhat I like about Dokuz Eylül is that the academic staff is strong. Academicians reinforce this with lessons in order to adapt students to current developments and the dynamics of business life. Most of the professors are understanding and moderate, but sometimes you may come across some grumpy ones. I think the infrastructure needs to be developed. Frankly, it is disproportionate not to be able to do this in the faculty classrooms when there are computer lessons.

View moreYou all think oh this school is in İzmir so sea, sand, sun but actually it is in Buca. Besides this fact, this school includes the best tutors in Turkey but they look down on the students. It can change for every department but mostly midterm exams are harder than the finals. Still, even if you are here only once, it is impossible not to learn at least something, even if it is small, about any topic.
