I studied Interior Design at Kocaeli University and graduated in 2021. The education program was generally good and gave a strong theoretical base. Most of the teachers were experts in their fields and tried to support the students. However, I think some classes needed more practical training.
The campus life could be more active, but thanks to student clubs and events, I had the chance to meet many people.
Overall, I recommend this university, especially for students who care about academic improvement.
View moreKocaeli University offers an overall average educational experience. While some departments have strong academic staff, the quality of resources and certain courses could use improvement.
I completed one program in five years and am currently studying in another department. Over this time, the campus and social facilities have improved, but I noticed a lack of student support and academic guidance in some areas. This means students often have to take the initiative and put in extra effort on their own.
Overall, I would recommend the university, but only if you’re willing to be self-motivated and take control of your own learning. It’s a good place for students with creative ideas who want to carve their own path, but it might be challenging for those who expect constant guidance.
