The Gerrit Rietveld Academie is a great environment to narrow down which artistic field to flourish in. Its teaching is heavily concept-based and less focused on the technique, which is fantastic for students who thrive outside of boundaries but it can be tricky to adapt to for someone who needs more structure. The variety of skills you can learn there is pretty much endless and you get to dive into whatever artistic field you want to and experiment as much as you want/need to before focusing on a speciality. The very international environment is also great for young expats!
