Hyper Island surprised me in many ways. I applied because I heard how creative the school was and its untraditional way of teaching. One of the many things I liked about Hyper Island was that we were given the freedom to shape our studies. I studied Motion Creative, which was heavily focused on animation and design. I was always interested in video production and luckily, a few from my class as well so we were able to get cinematography, editing and storytelling classes on top of the animation class that everyone else wanted. Because of this, I was able to learn and hone my skills in video production. Now, I’m working as a Video Producer and have worked on a wide range of video projects.
