University of Gothenburg (reviews)

I think the University of Gothenburg is excellent. I have gone to several universities, and UoG has been the one I’ve liked the most. The teachers are down-to-earth and approachable, which makes lectures and seminars more enjoyable than when there is a clear hierarchy between teacher and student.

The University of Gothenburg is a great university, they are very welcoming to international students, they also have a broad range of course offered. They provided useful information about studying at the university. One thing I do not like about the school is the inability to provide accommodation arrangement for foreign students because getting accommodation is a huge challenge here in the city of Gothenburg. So, my number tip for you would be to make sure you make arrangements for accommodation before arriving in the city.

I am in the first year of my master’s, so I just started experiencing this university and its program. However, I immediately noticed that overall the professor and student service team try their best to make the students feel comfortable and motivated.
I like that the programme is always one course at a time, rather than multiple at once. That really helps me to get into a specific topic in detail.

It is about a well organized and structured university. The courses and the programs are really interesting and many times beyond the existent expectations. The experience to study in this Scandinavian university is unique.
