Honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. I did my BA in Business Administration here and then came back for the MSc in Operations Management and Control. Yeah, I liked it enough to return.
The professors are something else. You can tell these people actually live and breathe what they teach. Had a few lecturers who completely changed how I think about certain topics. The kind where you leave a lecture and you’re still thinking about it on the way home.
The Scandinavian teaching style is hard to explain until you experience it. They respect your intelligence. No unnecessary pressure but the bar is high and you feel it.
Books and articles they assign are actually relevant and up to date. Not the same textbook from 2003 that half the world uses. They clearly put thought into what they give you.
Staff were great too. Every time I needed something whether academic or just admin stuff someone actually helped. No runaround.
And Stockholm itself… come on. You’re studying in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. That doesn’t hurt motivation at all.
Would I recommend it? Already have, multiple times.

At every course I took at SU I had highly approchable, knowledgeable and professional educators. School administration worked smoothly and flawlessly. Campus life was excellent, with a wide assortment of pubs and activities, as well as student health and sport amenities.
View moreMy experience has been mostly good. Some classes were interesting and easy to follow, especially when the teachers explained things clearly and took time to help students. A few teachers really stood out because they were supportive and made the lessons more engaging.
Not all classes were equally good. In some courses, the structure could have been better, and it required more effort to stay focused.
Campus life was nice overall. There were good places to study, and it was easy to meet new people. However, some facilities and administrative processes could be improved.
Overall, it’s a decent place to study if you are motivated and willing to put in the work.
View more“Manga studies” is a very interesting course. Theres a lot of freedom when it comes to assignement. The teacher is really nxoce and will answer all your questions/talk about any course related subject.
