Studying at the University of Salamanca has been a life-changing experience for me. From day one, I was impressed by the combination of tradition and modernity that defines both the university and the city. On the academic side, the professors are not only experts in their fields, but are also very dedicated to student learning. Classes stimulate critical thinking and there are many opportunities to get involved in research or extracurricular activities. On the social side, it is an amazing place: I have met people from all over the world and have forged friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Furthermore, the cultural life of Salamanca is unparalleled. The beauty of its streets, the majesty of buildings such as the historic library, and the vibrant nightlife create a perfect balance between study and enjoyment. Living here has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally, and I feel that being part of this university means being part of something much bigger than oneself.

As a student of the Political Science degree (2018-2022) I consider the University of Salamanca and specifically the degree that I take as a great learning experience, with some high-quality professors and facilities that meet expectations. However, the degree also stands out for its multiple shortcomings, especially with regard to job placement and the organization of the subjects and their syllabus (sometimes it overlaps with other subjects in a notable way).

The University of Salamanca combines all the factors to be recommended to anyone wishing to pursue postgraduate studies: academic level, a charming city, a youthful atmosphere and evident year-on-year growth. Undoubtedly, this house of studies occupies a privileged place in my life, being one of the best experiences I have had.

Studying the Master’s Degree in Democracy and Good Government at USAL has been one of the best experiences I’ve had. I definitely recommend studying it. Teachers with extensive experience and quality education.

The University of Salamanca can be known for many things depending on where it is talked about. Being Latin American, there are few European universities that substantially influence the processes of social and political studies. But not only that, the University of Salamanca flows by word of mouth from its alumni who highlight two particular things that make this university exceptional: the university atmosphere and the large number of offers and entertainment spaces. In my experience as a student at the University of Salamanca, I can corroborate that the University offers, among many other things, adequate and optimal spaces for the development of student personalities, most of which experience moving from the city to study. Without getting fully into the curricula and career files, which can flank a vast number of dimensions, the truth is that the University combines all the circumstantial factors so that the richness of the experience does not take place only in the content of the university curriculum.
