I particularly appreciate the well-managed class timings that aren’t too lengthy. The campus offers plenty of space for studying, which I find beneficial. The staff members are extremely friendly and approachable. The workload has been reasonable, allowing for a healthy balance. Communication with lecturers is seamless, whether in person after lectures or through email at any time.

View moreIs a good university where you need to work a lot, mostly you are going to study hard the basics of every subject.
-Good things about it are the teachers (helpful and mostly kind) and the easy follow of the things with a deep focus on memorise.
-Bad thing is that in almost all of Spain, the university, is stuck to the old, you are not going to go out prepared for work at all and most of the teachers do not speak English.
-I recommend you this university if you are sure that the career that you are going to choose is your dream because here you are going to enjoy and learn more than in others.
-I don´t recommend you this university if you don’t know what to study but you feel that you want to do something interesting.
I graduated from UPM Escuela Tecnica Superior Arquitectonica, receiving the title Master en Medio Ambiente y Arquitectura Bioclimatica in 2010. To my surprise, as we were never informed of this, I received a titulo propio. As it seems like an unofficial master title. I didn’t pay attention to that as I did not even know that this is not an official master. As the years passed I decided to proceed to a recognition of my Master’s in Greece to apply for a state position. To my utter surprise, my Master wasn’t recognized! They told me only official masters expedited by the King are recognized! After paying to do much money, and wasting effort and time at a prestigious University, I realize that my Master’s worth is more or less like a seminar. This is the ultimate cheat as in the Master site and information they never referred to that difference. If I knew it I would avoid that Master. I feel deception.
View moreUPM is one of those universities, with such a good record, that you expect everything to work perfectly, or at least to work good. The situation with COVID at the beginning didn’t help either. Administrative procedures usually take a long time to be completed. But the worst was applying for Erasmus. People were asking me, “but the university helps, right?”, well, they tell you to ask anything, and after you ask: “the answer is in the website”. The procedure is tedious because the information is not clear.
View moreOne of the best in Spain and Madrid to study engineering or any similar science degree, it is very demanding and that makes many students discourage, the teachers are not bad and there are many very good, but there are some that could improve.
