The university places a strong emphasis on the mental well-being of its students. This is evident through their recruitment of top counselors who assist students in making informed life decisions and provide a safe space for them to express themselves to a trained professional. By prioritizing mental health support, the university underscores its commitment to nurturing a supportive and caring environment for students to thrive and grow.

    Best Aerospace Engineering Experience!

At EETAC it’s not only the studies that matter, many other factors com into play! From Euroavia we try to give the students a better overall experience, giving them the opportunity to take part in University related projects, such as Drone Racing, Robot Battles, and many more.
As a student myself, I know how difficult the University’s exams are, and how hard you need to study to pass them all.

    Studies adapted to each student

My name is Andrea and my school is the Castelldefels School of Aerospace and Telecommunications Engineering (EETAC), which belongs to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He studied a double degree in aerospace systems engineering and telecommunications. I highlight the possibility of adapting the subjects each quarter according to the evolution of your work, academic or personal situation. This makes it possible to combine work with studies.
As a positive aspect, my school has small classrooms of about 25-30 students and morning and afternoon schedules, so student care is much better.
As a negative aspect, perhaps there are subjects in the study plan that are not interesting, since there are two paths to choose in each degree. In telecommunications there are telematics and systems and in aerospace there are airports and air navigation. So the student who is clear that he does not want one of the paths, has to take subjects of that branch forced. However, he also forces you to be multi-profile and to have more job opportunities.

    A good option.

I was lucky enough to spend a full academic year at UPC as part of the Sicue mobility programme. The syllabus was also well structured, with exams that accurately reflected the material covered in class. In addition, the teachers prepared their classes and made sure that the student learned. In this way, the effort is rewarded.

The UPC is highly decentralized with faculties spread throughout Barcelona and its neighboring towns. In my opinion, it is best to look for accommodation near the university, since it represents a great economic and time saving.

My biggest drawback to this university comes in terms of the language in which the classes are taught. If you are going to study the entire grade (from the first year) you will have no alternative but to learn Catalan since most of the teachers will insist on teaching the classes in Catalan. Even if the study plan indicates that it is Spanish or Catalan, the preferred language will always be the second. In my case, since I was only going to be there for one year and I had classes from the last few years, most of the teachers agreed to teach the classes in Spanish.

Finally, I would like to point out that Barcelona is an incredible city, with an enviable cultural offer. With a lot of multiculturalism and things to do any day of the week.

    Demanding and tedious, but rewarding.

Very demanding degree but very rewarding when things go right. Only option in the area to study this kind of degree, with many good professors abd interesting subjects. Some professors or subjects may be not as nice but in the end it feels worth it.

    Aerospace engineering

I’ve studied aerospace engineering and from my point of view it’s a really technical university where they take the exams really seriously and it can be really hard.

From a point of view of the people studying there, they’re amazing

    Good

I would say I have spent nice years in UPC.
On the one hand, I would remark as a good aspect the students and the associations the majority of them are involved in (such as EUROAVIA).
On the other hand, I would remark as a bad aspect the city where the campus is located, because there’s no much “university life” .

    Demanding and tedious but rewarding

It is a very demanding and sometimes tedious degree, but the knowledge imparted is of great level and some of the subjects and teachers make it worth it. Despite this, some other teachers are hard to work with and many equipment may be outdated, but the preparation level is good.

    Complete Bachelor Degree

The EETAC campus of the UPC has been able to create a high complexity but well organized bachelor double degree that combines two of the most demanded engineering profiles in the industry: telecommunications and aerospace. Although there are subjects that overlap others, the overall programs give you the possibility to get these two degrees in just five years. Life on campus is great, taking into account the time limitations an engineering student has. It is worth mentioning that the UPC has multiple campus across Catalonia. The one I’m enrolled at is located in Castelldefels (EETAC), a beach town near Barcelona. Teaching is also great, although some subjects can become more complex than other because of the professors and the evaluation methods. But overall I’m satisfied about the teaching at the school.

    The good theoretical level

The university has a pretty good curriculum. The teachers really know about the topics but in some of them there is a lack of willingness… but as a summary is not a bad university but more connections with companies and an general upgrade would be useful.
