The program offered a variety of classes that covers all the different aspects of a business case: finance, economics, marketing, supply chain, etc. My favourite part was interacting with the diverse class of 27 countries. The different opinions made the courses so interesting and appealing to learn.

It all started with a lot of enthusiasm as I was accepted in the course in less than 3 days (already quite unlikely for an international MBA). I arrived in October and we had the “welcome month” which was interesting. Unfortunately, within a week of my arrival, they robbed me of my computer inside a classroom in the building at carrer arago 44, and none of EAE took the responsibility (as I was robbed inside their building, which is private) nor have they made themselves available to collaborate in order to find a solution to the problem. To make you aware, they robbed me during the break, when with my colleagues we went to the coffee bar for exactly 10 minutes (very strange that someone from the street who wants to steal knows exactly the break times, right ?!).
Following this bad episode, classes officially started in November.

The courses were mediocre, only a few professors really deserve the position. Some don’t even have a PhD, others are arrogant, others can’t even speak well in English and have to help themselves with words in Spanish during class.

Even if now there are no extreme limitations from COVID (currently events up to 1000 people are allowed and other schools such as EADA, IESE, etc. have organized the graduation event in attendance) with surprise EAE only offered us the option of make an event 100% online.

My advice is to avoid this school, they operate as a company that aims at profit and not at the quality of the teaching offered. They lure you with clever marketing moves, but once you’re inside they’ll totally forget you.

As a last detail, an MBA course should above all serve to open the doors to the job world. We are at the end of our course, and none of my mates have received at least one job offer.

EAE is a good Business school to study an MBA if you read the program in enough detail and see if it aligns with your goals. The quality of the teachers is good for the most part, although there were some that weren’t at all. You will enjoy and take the most advantage of the school if you join all the events that they have and ask for all the opportunities you can have, as I did. If you’re thinking to study an International MBA but doubting of your English skills, please don’t do it! Just prepare yourself enough and go for it, it’s super worth it to have an international environment at the classroom with different points of views and way to do team work. The school itself doesn’t make events to bring together students from different masters, but there are many groups around Barcelona that you’re able to join in their activities.
So, in summary my advice is to ask yourself what is your goal, what do you wanna achieve after the master and read carefully the program to see if match with what you want.

The school allows connection with students from all over the world (I had colleagues from 19 different nationalities) and teaches very up to date topics. A mix of local (catalans, in my case) and foreign professors also gives different perspectives and their different backgrounds offer a broad range of knowledge to be absorbed. Other positive aspects are the wide range of courses and the availability of school’s staff.

It was such a great experience of having classmates from all over the world along with passionate professors. It would be great if there are some improvements with respect to using school facilities including library, rest rooms and empty classrooms. It would also be nice if Career Service can be dedicated to providing more comprehensive information with students.

My expectations were covered, EAE is a great school if you are looking to have a balance between your social life and school. You will have great events to do network and if you are willing to level up your career, this is a good option. If you choose a program in English, you will be able to have more International classmates and this is a key to get to now other’s perspective.

After studying and living in my country for many years, special university which is in international spectrum adds many things. First of all worldwide network and secondly different opinions from each part of world. EAE combines all of them perfectly and serves you with unique teachers. For my degree Internatonal MBA, it changes your way of executing ability from national to global level.
