My time at the Vaal University of Technology has been both challenging and rewarding. The Civil Engineering programm has provided me with a strong academic foundation and practical exposure to real-world engineering problems. Throughout my studies, I have developed essential technical skills through laboratory work, design projects, and site visits, which have helped me understand the practical applications of theoretical knowledge.

The lecturers were knowledgeable and always willing to guide students, while the learning environment encouraged teamwork and critical thinking. Despite moments of pressure, especially during project deadlines and examinations, the experience taught me discipline, time management, and perseverance.

Overall, I would rate the programm highly because it successfully combines academic learning with practical experience, preparing students to enter the engineering profession with confidence. My years at VUT have shaped me not only as an aspiring engineer but also as a more responsible and goal-driven individual.
