University of Zululand (reviews)

I like this university, spent my 6 years there, it’s culture is unique from any other university. I liked the campus life more and off campus, there is so much unity, a true definition of “Ubuntu”. University of Zululand, My Unizulu, Your Unizulu, Our Unizulu. Node for African thought.

Dislike: The programme doesn’t cover modern technological advancements. Slow delivery of services to students. Most professors are foreigners and have little or no relation to local living standards.
Like: Culturally active. Campus Life is vibrant, and other students are friendly.

The university academic staff are very ignorant and incompetent. Things take time to be sorted out, everything must be a drag I didn’t like that at all. I had the best years thou, the environment is so easygoing and I met a lot of cool people, people I want to keep forever. It is very easy to blend in with people from different places and backgrounds, there is no bullying or harassment.
Lecturers are very supportive and honest, always going an extra mile to make sure that our academics are always on point. The oncampus student residence is not really favourable but they fixed the issues students were complaining about. I recommend private accommodations as they are close to town and there’s more freedom. Overall it is a great university, I am grateful for the experience. Help is always an email away!

i had a nice experience as i was staying in Res, I made amazing and freindly freiends at Campus.

lectures were all freindly and welcoming. If you like night life i would say it was pumping definately you would have a great time if you go out.
