My personal experience with the Academic aspect, the institution’s orientation prepared me for the semester and layed blueprint and strategies onwards. There’s a great support system for students. Some lecturers were lifeless and they just read the slides. The tutors were helpful but being smart in the course can only take you so far. Assessments were very challenging and if were out to kill us. food on campus is not optional if you’re not privileged, the Neelsie is overpriced and the food isn’t even good. You can tell it chatters to the white folk. Lastly the bars and clubs being relatively close significantly contribute to impulsive substance intake and nightlife Overall the town and university are most suitable for personal growth and academic prosperity

As a student of Stellenbosch University, I’ve had a really positive experience so far. The professors and staff are friendly, supportive, and always willing to help. The campus is lively, with plenty of events going on to keep you engaged and connected. One thing I really appreciate is the food—it’s available all over campus and tastes great, so it’s super convenient. The accommodations are also better than I expected—clean, comfortable, and a good place to settle into student life. Overall, I’m really happy with my choice and excited for what’s ahead at Stellenbosch.
