SU gave me so much more than a degree. Amazing lecturers, great facilities, and a town you’ll never want to leave. The mountains, wine farms, and Matie spirit make it unforgettable. Tough academically, but worth it. 100% recommend
View moreAcademically SU is excellent and the reputation carries weight after you graduate. The campus is beautiful and student life is active.
Downsides: It’s expensive to live in Stellenbosch, transport is limited if you don’t have a car, and transformation inclusivity is still a work in progress.
Still, if you get in, take it. The opportunities and network are strong.
I think Stellenbosch University is such a great university! Doing my Honours degree there was such an honour. The lecturers are so supportive and they are ready and willing to assist you at anytime of the day. The library staff and support team is also amazing. My experience was so positive and the support was amazing which led me to graduating cum laude. I’m definitely coming back for my Masters Degree and Phd.
