I really enjoyed my time at North-West University, especially the vibrant student life and the sense of community on campus. The social atmosphere, events, and opportunities to connect with fellow students made the experience memorable and enriching.
One aspect I didn’t appreciate as much was that some subjects are taught strictly in Afrikaans, which can be limiting for students who are more comfortable in English or other languages. This language barrier sometimes makes certain modules less accessible.
Despite that, I would still recommend North-West University. It offers a strong academic environment, excellent facilities, and a lively student culture that makes it a worthwhile institution to attend.
View moreThe university is fairly a good place I won’t lie. The vibe is nice and everything so far has been a great experience. However just because I had a great experience does not mean everyone has had one.
I like the culture that is surrounded by the university, all the different events and all the likes. I love when they are stalls all over lovers lane and everywhere on campus. Always wanted to find a place of belonging like the way they paint it in those American university series and I did, I found the NWUPDU, honestly the debate union and obviously my friends have kept me going, all such great spaces. So one thing I definitely like and would recommend at NWU is the debate society, I was scared because I knew nothing about debating but once I went, met great people who were open to teaching us the basics and how to grow within the debate space and it has been an amazing journey.
