The University of Witwatersrand is good. It’s a prestigious University that is worldwide renowned, so is definitely recommend it as it opens more opportunities. I like the fact that they’re are so many different people and cultures that you get experience, making it a very enjoyable experience. I however, wish there was not enthusiasm from teaching staff, especially in the health science sector. I am currently a 2nd year Biomedical Science student, and it’s safe to say that watching paint dry might just be more interesting than that Parktown Health Science campus.

They push us to be the best but they do not care about our mental health. The pressure and the workload is too much. I do recommend it but just make sure that mental health is at its best. You need to be able to work under pressure
