One of the things I value most about the Faculty of Organisation Studies, that is a part of University of Maribor, is its smaller size. Unlike large universities, it offers a much more personal learning environment where students have easier access to professors and can build genuine relationships with them. This creates a supportive atmosphere in which you feel like an individual rather than just another student.
I also appreciate the flexibility of the study format. While classes are primarily held on campus, some lectures are occasionally available online, making it easier to balance studies with work and personal commitments.
The faculty is located in Kranj, and another practical advantage is the availability of car parking, which makes commuting convenient.
What truly stands out, however, is the postgraduate experience. The master’s and doctoral programmes are highly engaging and much more personal. Students have the opportunity to work closely with their professors, develop strong professional relationships, and receive valuable guidance throughout their studies. The professors are approachable, supportive, and readily available via email whenever advice or assistance is needed.
Overall, studying here has been a rewarding experience, combining academic quality with a welcoming and collaborative environment. The smaller class sizes, accessible faculty members, and strong sense of community make it an excellent place for both personal and professional growth.
