Student review [#18629] for Dentistry
at University of Lisbon - ULisboa

This year was my first year at university and at a new city. I entered FMDUL (faculdade de medicina dentária em Lisboa) in oral hygiene. My goal was dentistry but for 4 tenths I did not enter. Next year I will.
So far it´s been really good. I felt really welcomed by everyone. I already met so many cool and interesting people. I could say that this new experience has been perfect but it hasn´t. In the first week, I enjoyed it and I went to a lot of parties but now I feel like the real university began. In my second week, I already gave so many things and I already have so many things to study that I´m already worried. I came to a new city and that came with a cost. I´m all by myself but I really think I made the right choice. Before coming to university I was preoccupied that maybe this wasn´t the right university and the right course but even though I think it’s really hard I´m loving the experience. The installations of my university are really nice and I have a clinic in my university to have some practical classes. It´s really nice. Most of my classes are in the new area of the university but I feel like the old part needs a renovation (not all can be perfect). My university is nicely located because all the universities (or almost all) are in the same place so it´s really nice to be surrounded by people that are living the same experience as you. It´s motivational (at least I think).
I think coming to proceed and higher education is really important, even more, if you are someone that likes to learn new things, and I would definitely recommend my university to a friend. I would just tell him a side note: be prepared to be a hard-working person.
