at Nova School of Business and Economics

I spent one year in Biological Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico and I hated the course. I think it was a matter of personal taste but I just figured that I didn’t that to be my professional life. However, IST is an excellent university, by far the best in Portugal when it comes to engineering, the only thing that could be better are the teachers. Don’t get me wrong, they are all genius but I just feel like most of them don’t enjoy teaching and are just there to stay at the university doing researsh. Overall, it’s in the heart of Lisbon and you have many opportunities to have an incredible social life.
When it comes to Nova SBE, I’m in the second year of my Bachelor’s in Management and I’m really enjoying it. Again, it’s by far the best business school in the country. I think that the theoretical classes teachers sometimes could be a little more engaging and objective but the TAs are just perfect. For every subject, there are always a few TAs that just save all of us. In this case, Carcavelos isn’t very full of social gatherings but you can still find your people there’s the beach which makes everything better.
