Studying Management at Nova SBE has been an exceptional experience. The Carcavelos campus provides world-class facilities and services, with great public transport connections and the unmatched perk of being right by the beach. The campus environment is modern, welcoming, and vibrant.
The faculty and staff are one of the school’s greatest assets approachable, enthusiastic, and genuinely invested in student success. Academically, the programme strikes a solid balance between strong theoretical foundations and practical, real-world application, thoroughly preparing you for the job market and professional challenges.
The degree is undeniably demanding and requires hard work and resilience. However, the effort truly pays off. I highly recommend this programme to anyone passionate about management, both the analytical and strategic sides, as long as you come in ready to work hard and make the most of the opportunities here.
My time at Nova Business School in Lisbon was truly incredible. The master’s program in management offered a really complete set of courses that really helped me expand my knowledge and skills. It’s completely customisable so there is a program for everyone. The faculty were really knowledgeable and supportive, which made the learning experience engaging.
I particularly liked the diversity of students, which provided a global perspective and create really crazy international discussions. The school’s also focus a lot on practical applications and real-world scenarios si it helped me prepare for the challenges in the business world. The campus is also incredible.
I wholeheartedly recommend Nova Business School to anyone looking to advance their career in management or in any business orientations. The blend of academic rigor, international students, and practical experience makes it an ideal choice.
View moreI’m overall really enjoying this university, in the beginning there might be some courses which might feel more theoretical, hard, or boring to complete, but as time goes on you start getting into more interesting courses (and hopefully you end up valuing those hard semesters too, that shaped your focus and resilience).
I think it’s the best option in Portugal for Business and a very well positioned university in Europe, since it has a wonderful Campus, a strong international community, prestigious Alumni and corporate relations, and a great differential that comes from the Student Clubs environment where you can learn and grow a lot, while contributing to something different than academics, more practical and inside a circle of like minded peers who share the interest for a specific topic or industry.
Even though their academic services support could improve, this is without a doubt the best choice for ambitious, driven, proactive students!
Highly qualified professors, an international environment, a breathtaking campus, and a very customizable program. All of these features make Nova SBE the ideal place for ambitious students who want to grow both personally and professionally.
View moreI am an international erasmus student at NOVA for the fall semester and I really like the experience. The courses are beyond my expectations, but they are also way more demanding and difficult (which I think in the end is a good thing). From all the things in Nova, my favorite part was the campus. It is just a very nice place to chill with friends when you’re not in class. I had both theoretical and practical classes, like a business seminar, international management and strategy. The international team at Nova offers support when it comes to accommodation and getting around the city, and it is very easy in general. There are a lot of offers around the city and also near campus, although the first isn’t as affordable. The university has a lot of student activities, for example, the international food fair where all the students from different countries cook food from their home countries and offer it to the other students. The life in Lisbon is good both during and day and night, with lots of special spots that you get to know during the time here. The campus is big and new, but it’s quite empty. I recommend other students to come to Lisbon to experience it and to participate in as many student activities as they can, making the best use of the campus.
View moreStudying at Nova was an amazing experience, given the international environment and the amazing courses and professors.
The workload is intense but it prepares us to the business world and there are several student clubs that may help you develop other relevant skills and explore different career paths.
The new facilities have really brought life into the university and that is one aspect that, personally, makes me want to study more. The more time I spend here, the more I like it. It also has great recognition which is crucial for your CP
View moreReally good one with different people and courses that give you a lot of hard skills for the future. I would highlight the quality of the new campus as one step for a future higher development since gives students better conditions to learn and study!
View moreI really enjoyed my Bachelor’s in Management at Nova SBE. The course is quite broad, with subjects like Finance, Marketing, Strategy, Operations Management, Accounting, and Organizational Behaviour, which gave me a good understanding of how different areas of a business connect. I especially enjoyed Finance and Statistics because they felt more practical and encouraged a lot of problem-solving. I also liked being able to choose the subjects I wanted to take from the 2nd year onwards. One thing I disliked was that some of the courses were too theoretical and extensive like Business law, Ethics, etc.
Outside of classes, being part of a club focused on consulting and NGOs was one of my favourite parts, as I could apply what I learned to real projects and develop my teamwork and communication skills. Nova has a lot of student clubs, and that is crucial for learning outside of the classroom and building essencial skills for life. Also, there is a huge incentive for international experiences such as Erasmus which increases skills like autonomy, independence and so on.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Nova SBE, especially for someone interested in business or consulting.
View moreMy experience at Nova SBE has been very positive. What stood out the most is the international environment, which gives you the opportunity to meet people from many different backgrounds and learn from their perspectives. The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and the classes helped me develop both strong technical skills and a broader way of thinking. Beyond academics, I really appreciated the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere on campus. I met many great people and made friendships that went beyond the classroom. The location is also a big plus, with a beautiful setting that makes student life even more enjoyable. Overall, Nova SBE was an experience that helped me grow both professionally and personally, and I would definitely recommend it to future students looking for an international and stimulating academic environment.
