I always think of the University of Wrocław as a place not only for learning and education but also as a pleasant, inclusive, globally open space that fosters development in many aspects. I highly recommend UWr.

The University of Wrocław Has a long and beautiful tradition but I believe it could be present in different proportions. While faculties seem to follow teaching traditions we do not hear as much about social traditions of the University that were always present among students. Teaching methods could be updated on some faculties but the University is situated in a wonderful place and it has an amazing library. I Hope for further development of that University.

The university itself is a rather good choice in my opinion.
The organization is a bit chaotic, especially when it comes to signing up for classes or PE. Additionally, some curricula appear outdated, resulting in courses that may feel like a waste of time. This may lead students to question their chosen major.
But there are also many positive aspects of studying at Uwr. It is a very welcoming place, which is especially helpful at the beginning of one’s studies. Most of the workers are highly experienced and understanding, they’re always willing to help and guide, especially those more ambitious. There are also various extra activities available for those interested, like discussion clubs, official parties and meet-ups, the student council, etc.
One can use a number of adjectives to describe Uwr, but “boring” is certainly not one of them.
For me personally, the major flaw of Uwr is how underfunded the Institute of English Philology is. We have to sit in the most uncomfortable chairs or benches I’ve ever seen. Sometimes one has to sit through 5 classes (each 1,5 hours long) in a row, and the lack of some basic amenities, such as an electric kettle, is an inconvenience.
It can be exhausting, but overall, if you seek an engaging but less practical major, I would still recommend it.

University of Wrocław is a perfect place for those who’d like to study in a hospitable and experienced environment. The professors can be strict; still, they’re understanding, expert, and very well-educated. The only disadvantage I can think of is the organisation which sometimes fails. Nevertheless, it’s a great university for everyone who plans to focus on education and still be able to have fun in the beautiful Wrocław which has a lot to offer.

With UWr you’re gonna achieve a new level of connection with international students. from experienced professors to exceptional students from different variety of countries, you are going to find out new ways and approaches toward building connections and communicating with people.

The University of Wroclaw is a nice educational institution. I completed my first year of master’s studies and am now in my second. I studied social sciences, and the building and location of institutions aren’t all that impressive! It is located between houses and in the suburbs, approximately 20–30 minutes from the city center. Other institutions are at a better location -much nearer to the city centre and next to rivers, mall, etc-. Professors, on the other hand, are quite professional and courteous. They make every effort to provide information and encourage pupils to be better and believe in themselves. To be honest, there aren’t many activities for international students! However, the overall mood is pleasant.
I’ve never regretted my decision and would advise you to do the same. Because Wroclaw and Poland, in general, are amazing, I assure you will have a fantastic time here learning and extending your horizons.

Yes, I will recommend it if you would like to be stressed. This place is disorganized and it is very hard to resolve something with documents here. But studies here are really amazing! Professors are kind and like to work with us.
