I will rate is 4 out of 5.
Although there is a room for improvement, the course and classes were run smoothly and teachers were very much authentic and supportive. The university has a big reputation and it holds itself to that name.

Pleasant university and experience. Few lessons per week (8 hours) and friendly teachers. Wide choice of courses that you can enroll in. Campus and city in general quite ugly, but that’s part of the Polish experience

Overall, my course at university feels underdeveloped. There aren’t many classes in each semester and most of those classes feel useless and completely unrelated to the subject of my studies. Some classes are completely useless- no material is being shared, topic of classes is completely unrelated to topic of studies, professors teaching my classes are not professors of my topic of studies. Access to information and channels of acquiring information are lacking and difficult to access. Information about classes, registrations, university events etc has to be requested, it’s not readily available anywhere and if it is, it is so deeply buried I was unable to find it. Overall, most of my classes are boring, unhelpful and/or unrelated to what I’m studying.

It’s great, the environment is great, the teachers and staff are great and I’m very happy. Only occasionally the internet doesn’t work very well, but it’s not a big problem. I’ve made a lot of friends here and it’s very worthwhile.

The university provides its students with professors, who are driven by passion, professionalism and fairness. The classes are well-structured, never cease to be interesting and are always up to date with the modern world. The workload is moderate, meaning it is just enough to have time for personal growth while doing research, but also not over the top. University facilities are modern and convinient. University organizes all kinds of events to bring the student community even closer.

I like that we have professors which like their field of teaching and try to make students love it and show more than the syllabus require. The thing that we have to do a preorder of some merch of the faculty annoys me. I also have that if you want to participate in some university life aspects you need to fit in the required standards of the university clubs or offices.

The curriculum is great. The professors genuinely love their subjects and teaching. A lot of research work which helps to memorize information not just from lectures, but on our own. Great “reward” system. So far haven’t met a single professor who’d be rude towards students or degrade them/harass/penalize. Fair treatment of all, no discrimination.

This is honestly the best three years of my life, the lecturers at the university are very professional, knowledgable, and caring. The campus is located in several parts of the city, which makes it an adventure to go to the next class. Aside from this, they have high standard facilities, and an extensive library catalog. I would highly recommend UW to any prospect student looking to learn and experience new things as well as prepare for their careers.

You are first of all thrust into the old town, one of the most beautiful parts of Warsaw, where the University is located. You are then introduced to a very helpful international office who do indeed make your studying and life in Poland easier. There are fewer lecture-type classes hence there’s more interaction with the professor in case you don’t understand and they try to make the lessons as impactful for all cultures by involving you.
