Looking for proactive society of students? - You found it finally!

I’m studying at this Uni for 3yrs now, my field is Automatics and Robotics.
Brief Description what was going on in the last 3 years:

We had 2 semesters on which we programmed PLC (physical drivers) on one we controlled a motor with an encoder, on the other we focused more on getting familiar with the TIA portal programming environment, including HMI programming.
We also had 1 semester of classes devoted to the SCADA itself in the program which name I didn’t remember.

When it comes to Robotics we had a semester when we learned MelfaBasic, there were robots in the laboratory so you had the opportunity to code the physical robot, not only simulators.
In the next semester, we dealt with some accuracy measurements, gripper designs.
Pneumatics and hydraulics we had labs on which we connected pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

We had logic gates from electronics and program the microcontroller in assembler but on the simulator (some irony because we had physical examples in a lab).

There are two technical universities in Krakow, and on both occasions to gain more knowledge and experience, there are open workshops connected to this field, so when it comes to developing your “Electrical Engineering skills” Kraków might be a good choice.

Ofc there was more lectures and labs, I just mention some because for me those were the most valuable ones.

When it comes to side activities AGH is the best choice we have here a lot of students research groups we’re building Electric cars, motorbikes, boats, drones, rockets, spaceships, robots… Whatever u dream of – if we don’t have a group which you’re interested in. I can assure that you will easily find students who will join.

If you’re interested in chilling and meeting new people – perfect place for you to live would be one of the dorm – a lot of interesting ppl to meet there and the location is awesome – on a Campus 20min of a walk from city centre.
Though if you prefer calmer environment I would not recommend.
