If I have to be honest, I would expect much more than this from European education. I am originally from a developing country outside Europe. However the education that I have received in my high school and previous university was much more requiring and fun than this. University overall needs a lot of improvement. Everything progresses slowly and teaching process lacks ambition. Is not there any good about it? Of course there is. There are actually plenty. But disadvantages evidently outweighs advantages for me.

My overall experience at university has been positive. The campus and facilities are well-maintained, offering a great environment for learning. However, finding suitable accommodation be challenging. Despite this, the academic and social opportunities make it a worthwhile experience.

Excellent teachers but inadequate course content. You can actually learn while having fun. The faculty and the campus are truly intertwined with nature. Some science courses such as physics and biology are practical and didactic. Theoretical courses are not very informative. History classes are my favorite. They are really fun and educational.

Overall UAM is modern, accommodating and organised.
Professors are helpful and knowledgeable.
Morasko campus have you would need, and is well commuted with the whole city. Only problem was with academic year organisation.

It should be more comprehensive, as the name is “Liberal arts and sciences”. Moreover , our major is the part of History department which is so strange to the people who have heard of it. Subjects should be more independently chosen by students upon up their desires. It should cover at least 7 fields not only history, philosophy, languages , biotechnology and chemistry. Attendance should not be counted by teachers as it does not in a lot of EU universities. Of course, it has a good sides which are offering studying in of the best universities in Poland, and giving a chance to the students who do not have any mindset about which profession they should choose.

A strong Liberal Arts and Sciences program is nimble and current in offering students the maximum flexibility to customize their curriculum that is both specific and relevant to modern society. Instead, by couching it under the Faculty of History, UAM’s Liberal Arts and Sciences program offers only science modules in exploratory level. Furthermore, the lack of a dedicated college meant that professors from various faculties are engaged to deliver only the minimal effort. This resulted in clumsy and severely unfair grading that did not accurately reflect the students’ learning or takeaways.
