The library is one of the most stunning parts of the university campus. The course itself is extremely engaging and aids in my quest to make more friends abroad. The lectures are very helpful and kind. I enjoy and learn this course well thanks to their teaching style.
View moreFor the reason it was an academic torture back in Turkey, I have found AMU like a paradise so far. Yet, if I should be objective, despite the really qualified, cheerful and honest scholars, the administrative processes of the university sometimes malfunction especially issues with the international student. For instance, they assigned our thesis supervisor a lot later than it was suppose to be. Moreover, If you are not competent in Polish, there are not many student activities for international students. Nevertheless, I really enjoy the facilities, our serene campus, highly qualified and open minded scholars and the city of Poznan.
View moreI have started my Master’s degree program at Adam Mickiewicz university more than half a year ago and I can safely state that I have not regretted my choice yet. Currently, due to coronavirus restrictions university conducts our classes in hybrid form, which means only tutorials are held on the campus. Still, it doesn´t preclude the possibility to feel deeply positive aspects of being a student. The campus is provided with all needed facilities to feel enough comfortable. There is a cozy library located at the faculty where you can find a variety of books and other materials, or use technical equipment needed for your studies. The administration is polite and takes care of students. However, sometimes there is a lack of communication between the dean’s office and international students, as they don’t send important information in time. Lectures are highly qualified and stick to professional ethics. Lectures are interesting and accompanied by presentations and other media. Since I am studying in the English language program, there is no lack of diversity in my group. I have a chance to talk and share experiences with people from all around the world. The biggest cons of this program were the recruitment process which took ages in comparison with Polish language ones. Due to that, students struggled with getting their visas in time and getting a place in the dormitory. The administration did not make any efforts to change that situation. However, lecturers have been always understanding students and made concessions. In general, this university has helped me to learn a lot of new and given new a priceless experience so far.
View moreAs one of the most qualified universities in Poland, Adam Mickiewicz University has extensive popularity for students from all over the world. I have just realized that I am in a very multicultural environment with super-intellectual professors. There are many faculties and also 3 campuses within the university. Students can share their ideas openly because people are friendly. You will feel like you are studying for your bachelor’s as you are at home.
View moreI’ve been studying at this university for almost 5 years and I only can speak about the Law&Administration Faculty. Some of the professors are very likable and helpful, but sometimes the classes choice is pretty poor. They seem to just care about filling the gap instead of actually teaching something useful. Also, the organization is really terrible, especially chaotic once you get into the Erasmus exchange programme.
