Lahore School of Economics is one of the top business institutions in Pakistan where you can polish your inner skills and give them a deeper thought. Currently, I am a student at LSE and I’ve gained a lot from this institution. It offers a wide range of courses according to the interests of students. Not only this it also provides them with platforms where you can present your own business ideas such as business fiestas and SME exhibitions. honestly speaking it truly takes out the marketer in you by enhancing your skills. Campus life is a little bit boring, no late-night events. Apart from studies we also do have free slots, in which we have free time for activities such as sports, lunch or hanging out with friends. There is some strictness but also a balance between studies and entertainment. But you have to meet the deadlines on time, no compromise on that.View more
I will be honest LSE does give you a lot of stress but that something will help you in the end. Their job market is one of the best in the country. LSE really polishes your skills and transforms you. There is a lot of struggling but it will all pay off in the end.View more
Yes it’s true that LSE lacks the basic necessities of providing entertainment opportunities to its students but then the paradigm is balanced by providing them with top notch level of educatiion, discipline and confidence by teaching students the manners of dressing and the ability to express their viewpoints in front of the audience.View more
Lahore school of economics is one of the best business schools in Lahore yet I’m highly disappointed by their policies and the way they treat their student body. No doubt they provide the quality education but their management is just a failure in every other aspect. University life is about exposure and growing and it’s very sad to say that LSE just give you exposure of books and nothing else. We don’t have any extra co curricular activities or any sort of events. It’s been 3 years I’ve been studying here and I haven’t attended a single social event like concert, sports week and etc. We don’t have any right or say in any aspect, students are not being respected here. We are not even allowed to wear slippers or round neck t-shirts in summers which further makes our lives more miserable. We don’t have any common rooms or nice cafeteria to have quality time around.View more
Lahore School of Economics is a good university and provides ample opportunities for personal growth, learning new skills, and career development (just don’t be lazy or you won’t be able to take advantage of the opportunities and build your career). There are activities, guest lectures, coaching sessions, and whatnot. The campus is not glamorous and it’s too far away, literally at the end of the country just 20 mins away from India (yes I have made that journey from the campus).
But one issue that I faced, and was actually shocked, was that how the top management just doesn’t care for its student body. It’s like the typical “SETH CULTURE” where some old people are at the top, who do whatever they please, are infuriated when someone questions them, and well they just think we are all the same stupid, over-clever who want nothing more than to take undue advantage of the system by being selfish. They did not at all help me with a very serious issue (which was completely geniune and I had complete authentic evidence and documents), which was going to seriously affect my transcript and GPA. And this is not just my angry rant, there are countless students who have had the same issue and other issue and concerns as well that were not just ignored but the students were disrespected greatly and unnecessarily.
So if you don’t ever have to encounter these people (and don’t face certain obstacles, problems) and just go about your own studies and try to be active, you will come out a capable and confident individual (if luck is on your side).
A very poorly managed university with the worst admin staff ever. Not cooperative at all, they think as if students are robots and machines who will work 24/7 on the tonnes of assignments and project provided. Some teachers are really arrogant and full of attitude, they don’t even respect the students and just ORDER all the time. I would suggest others to never opt for LSE and make your life easy by going somewhere else.View more
LSE is an amazing university that is giving us students a pathway to explore our talents and our abilities. The education that they are providing to us is excellent and it is aiding in our learning abilities. However, the only problem we are facing right now are the online classes. As sometimes there are connectivity issues , electrical problems and much more. So if you miss out on any class then the work load and pressure increases. As a lot of work is done in a single class and if you miss out on then you stay behind others. Which is a drawback.View more
Extremely autocratic system, there is no student union and admin including faculty members just dont care about students. Even in this pandemic situation they are putting too much burden on student body and are not promoting us while other universities across the globe have done it. All they want from their students is to cram the entire book and slides and there is no learning.View more
LSE is a great institution with equally great instructors. They are highly qualified and have great knowledge. The overall university culture is very interesting and friendly. The auditoriums are equipped with every technology that is required.
