The decision to study at LUMS has deeply shaped who I am today. The thing I enjoyed the most during my time at LUMS was how every course encouraged us to question things we had previously been taught in school. A lot of our previous understandings were shattered and we were taught to draw our own conclusion by analysing research data properly.
LUMS gave me the freedom to think of out of the box and become my own person rather than being told how to think. We questioned everything both inside and outside the classroom. I believe it is one of the few universities in a country like Pakistan that truly give you that freedom. I would also like to highlight the freedom the campus allowed me as a woman. It is a the few places in Lahore I could walk around at 3am without looking over my shoulder or being paranoid in any way at all. If you plan to study within Pakistan, I can without doubt say that there in no better option.

LUMS is a beautiful campus with lots of greenery and plenty of food options (6-7 places on campus so you never get bored). The academics are tough and the competition is real since you’re studying alongside the top students from schools all over Pakistan. But that’s what makes it special — you’re constantly pushed to do better. Overall, a demanding but truly rewarding experience.

SoE is home to those who have an undying devotion towards education. Its rigorous curriculum and effective teachings will enable you to think critically, from the day one.
I was overwhelmed about finding part time jobs along with the master’s, but Soe solve that for you, as they keep on updating you about new part time positions. The LUMS is so connected that you will always be updated about what’s happening around.
If you are to challenge your thoughts/patterns/system of education, learn,and unlearn things, then SoE is the right place for you.

As a recent graduate of the Bachelor’s in Management Sciences program, I can confidently say that my experience has been comprehensive and transformative. The program offered a well-rounded curriculum that covered a wide range of management disciplines, including finance, marketing, human resources, and strategic management. The faculty were knowledgeable and supportive, providing valuable insights and guidance throughout my academic journey. Additionally, the program emphasized practical learning through case studies, internships, and group projects, which equipped me with real-world skills and prepared me for the challenges of the business world. One aspect that truly enhanced my learning experience was the opportunity to execute theoretical concepts in practical scenarios during annual events organized by societies within the university. These events provided a platform to apply classroom knowledge to real-life situations, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences afforded to me by this program, and I believe it has provided me with a strong foundation for success in my future endeavors.
