IBA: A Hub of Quality Education and Diverse Student Societies
IBA is truly a gem among educational institutions, providing a top-notch education while fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus culture. With its commitment to excellence and a wide range of student societies, this university creates an environment that nurtures students’ academic growth and personal development.
At IBA, the quality of education is paramount. The faculty comprises accomplished scholars, industry professionals, and experts in their respective fields. Their dedication to teaching and mentorship ensures that students receive a comprehensive education that prepares them for success in their careers. The curriculum is designed to be rigorous, yet adaptable, allowing students to explore their interests while acquiring essential knowledge and skills.
One of the university’s standout features is its extensive array of student societies. With societies spanning various disciplines, from technology and arts to social sciences and entrepreneurship, students have ample opportunities to engage with like-minded peers, explore their passions, and enhance their skills outside the classroom. These societies are student-led, providing valuable leadership experiences and a chance to develop teamwork and organizational abilities. By participating in these societies, students can further develop their talents, collaborate on projects, and create a strong network within their field of interest.
Overall, IBA is an outstanding institution that combines high-quality education with a wide range of student societies to polish students in diverse fields. It nurtures a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes academic growth, personal development, and the pursuit of passions. For those seeking a university that provides both educational excellence and ample opportunities for extracurricular engagement, IBA is undoubtedly a remarkable choice.
View moreI believe this is one of the best universities in Pakistan, and the best business school. It has a rich legacy of producing not just industry, but Pakistan’s, leaders.
I wish they would return to a more exclusive selection criteria to ensure that less students are enrolled. This is simply because the campus cannot facilitate the large number of students that are coming in rapidly. Until the new campus is not fully functional, there will be a lot of overcrowding and resources become limited. IBA should also bring back merit scholarships for students on the Dean’s List. A better evaluation system for teachers needs to be implemented so that ineffective teachers who are unable to teach well can either be gained or let go off. They add no value to the students nor the institute. The enrolment process can be made even smoother and a little more facilitating towards students of all programs.
Other than that it is a wonderful institute and I am a proud student.
View moreIBA does not live up to its reputation of being the best business university in Karachi. Many of the teachers are incompetent to teach properly and to grade marked assignments and exams fairly, the level of the students in terms of academic and cocurricular achievements is lower than I thought, it’s difficult to get desired courses each semester along with a student’s preferred schedule, we study from outdated books, and lastly, if a student faces any issues or problems, for example, if they do not have the required number of courses in a semester or if they feel as if a teacher did not grade their work properly, there is no one to help the students. Students have almost no say in any matter. They can run around to different people to look for solutions and answers but no one really helps so all they do is keep quiet and move on.
The only good part of IBA is the fact that it’s a renowned University in Pakistan, and the fact that IBA has more students that come from a good family background than any other university.
The overall university experience was excellent and worth remembering. But still there is a room for improvement in IT infrastructure and Quality of content and its delivery. The latter one mostly depends on the teacher, and hence i believe the recruitment process should be improved and focused on.
